Storage units burglarized, victims urged to contact police

Twitter FarkIt Type Size A A A More than 50 storage units were burglarized on Tuesday or Wednesday and police are attempting to locate victims of the burglary.




At about 6 a.m,. Wednesday, Clarksville police responded to a storage company on Jack Miller Boulevard in response to buildings being burglarized.
Between 9:10 p.m., Tuesday and 6:03 a.m, Wednesday someone had cut the locks off of 53 storage units and went through the contents in the units.
There was also graffiti discovered and a hole cut into the security fence of the storage business, the CPD report said.
No victims have been identified for the burglary.
Police are attempting to track down victims since the storage facility was not able to provide information.
Anyone who has a storage unit at 179 Jack Miller Boulevard is encouraged to check their unit and report any missing property to the Clarksville Police Department. Reports can be made by calling 931-648-0656

A shed??? You are joking right? Are you tipping the bottle this early in the morning?

People use storage units around here to hold all their belongings while waiting for housing, in the process of moving, or going home for a year long deployment.

They also rent storage units for crap they have nowhere to put it. Quite like a shed. Some people keep storage units for 10 years plus full of stuff they never plan on using again

true...there are a few people that come to mind that I have seen that might consider getting one or two 10x20s.

Did you see on the news about that hoarder that had to have fire dept come out and remove her through the roof? They built tunnels to get through their house from room to room. It was on CNN.

I honestly just posted the story so that if someone knew anyone that had their stuff there to check in with the authorities.
