and avoiding the laundry, so let's play a game.

Think back to when you was a teen. Name something fashion wise that you wore that was "uncool" at the time but is now the craze.

Me, I wore chuck taylor's most of my high school life and kids thought it was uncool. I had 10 pairs in different colors. Now chuck taylor's are cool to wear.

Multi colored makeup. Think Raver Girl colors

Ninja the bingo wings crusader --- 37 days ago -

yea that stuff was definitely not cool when i was growing up. Small town mentality, they didn't like "different"

Ninja the bingo wings crusader --- 37 days ago -

my husband's fashion was the "skater boy" fashion before it became big and he HATES the term "skater boy" fashion.

*CU Drama Queen* --- 37 days ago -

There was unique, but never marked "different" when I was growing up. But then again, it was NY, different was embraced lol

Was never really uncool to do much of anything other than being a douche. As long as you where cool people in my HS everyone didnt have a problem

Ninja the bingo wings crusader --- 37 days ago -

Ninja the bingo wings crusader --- 37 days ago -

Baroness --- 37 days ago -

OMG Ninja that brought back memories ... i remember wearing the bandanna around the knee like Punky Brewster ... so help me I will never wear neon again ... esp the ankle socks with flats or the tight roll jean ever again

Ninja the bingo wings crusader --- 37 days ago -

Hahahahah I still like neon colors. Not even going to lie. I wish that I had kept my hypercolor shirts though.

Baroness --- 37 days ago -

hypercolor shirts

i was just talking about those a couple of weeks ago with my daughter while I was shopping at The Buckle ... I remember it was called The Brass Buckle back in the day and of course you had to have a Swatch watch as well with the changeable straps and rubber faceguard lol

cu anti christ --- 37 days ago -

abercrombie and bytch hoodies

Ninja the bingo wings crusader --- 37 days ago -

Hahahahah I wanted a job so bad at the brass buckle when I was a teen so I could get discounts.

Baroness --- 37 days ago -

I remember that most of the clothes there were to big for me ... I was a late bloomer and had to shop in the childrens section till I was about a junior in high school ... I was always envious of all the girls that could buy clothes from there or Maurices ... lol

cu anti christ --- 37 days ago -

i like the dress barn. located right cross the path from the apple barn. makes me feel chubby.

Villain --- 37 days ago -

I set trends in my school. I stubbornly wore bandanna do-rags that I coordinated with my nail polish. I also wore white v-neck undershirts for men with jeans and Docs. Not to mention a pound of black makeup and jewelry.

poppin~wheelies! --- 37 days ago -

One thing I regret is belted long sweaters with leggings. I did think wearing 2 pairs of opposite color socks was cool, You know switching the colors from white on the outside and black on the inside to the other. It was awesome. Sadly I was a fan of tight rolling my jeans and the hyper color t-shirts!

Rhonda --- 37 days ago -

Converse....they used to be "poor people shoes."

Ninja the bingo wings crusader --- 37 days ago -

Poor people my foot. I paid for them with my own money. Cost me like $40. That was a lot of money back in the early 90's.

☠ Sinatra ☠ --- 37 days ago -

my hair in a water fountain and pump basketball sneakers hahahaha the ones that had the pump basketball on the tongue so if you pumped them you would really think you could run faster and jump higher haha boy did they lie

Rhonda --- 37 days ago -

uhh I grew up in the 80's. My daughter begged her Dad for Converse.

cu anti christ --- 37 days ago -
