So her husband died and his spirit was placed in someone else's body so that's why the "new guy" looks like her husband but only to her?

Uh IDK I though he was a cop and this guy was in a fire and was in a coma about to die, with no family. Her husband did not cross over because he wanted to be with her so he jumped in this body to save her from the crazy spirit trying to kill her.IDK I missed a few of them. 

I guess its something that has to be kept up with to understand. Not one of those shows you can randomly watch and understand lol
