You have to bring ID and LES everytime you go there.
Acutally u only have to bring your id card and the card they give u there not the les eveytime u go, atleast i dont have to lol
u welcome im trying to find the hours, i made the card but i went 2 times and thats it lol gotta look for it if i find it ill let yall know what times they open
they give you 15 minutes, sometimes longer in there. it smells awful in there too. but given that most people are really wasteful here, you can find nice things on occasion.
its like a thrift store its for e-5s and below, u have to bring ur les and id card and then u get a card so u can shop in there ur allowed to get 2 bags and a hand carry out and u get 15 min to look around and get what u want, they have all kinds of stuff there
It's a place on post that E-5 and below can go and get free stuff they need. I think there's a limit of 2 plastic bags and 1 carry out. Everything there had been donated by others in the community.
The backdoor boutique is a free program, which allows E-5 and below and member of their household to shop using a military ID instead of money! We take donations M-F from 9-4. Our volunteers sort through these donations, put them out on the shelves, and on M-Th from 10-2 patrons can come in and take up to two bags and a carryout FREE OF CHARGE! We have household items including small appliances, bedding, and home decor. We also have clothing and shoes in all sizes, plus toys and other miscellaneous. If a soldier/family member is in need of larger items (furniture, baby items, etc.) we put the name on a wish list, and as soon as we get these items in we’ll give them a call to pick it up. Average served per month around 950 families. We also have an Exception to Policy request letter for those Soldiers above the rank of E-5 who may have an immediate need. They need to contact the Backdoor Boutique to request the form. Average monthly participation in this program is 700 patrons.
