actually we are ment to be omnivores and eat a balance of meat and plant foods. more plant than meat to be percise. ever see that handy dandy food pyramid? also, vegetarians substitue meat proteins for plant protiens such as soy and nuts. and if you want to get into real health detail, raw foods are best. the process of cooking foods usually depleats the natural benefits of them.
